BNP’s Kayser Kamal calls for arrest of ex-CJ Khairul Haque for ‘killing democracy’
A nationwide protest rally will be held at all district bars on Tuesday

BNP's Legal Affairs Secretary Barrister Kayser Kamal has expressed disappointment and anger over the failure to arrest former chief justice ABM Khairul Haque, whom he accuses of destroying the country's democracy and fostering fascism.
In a press conference at the Supreme Court Lawyers Association Building today (27 April), Kamal called on the home and law ministries to take action against Khairul Haque.
He warned that if these ministries fail to act, the Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum, alongside the legal community, would launch more stringent measures.
Kamal also demanded the voluntary resignation of Supreme Court judges whom he believes are complicit in supporting fascism.
In his written statement, presented by the forum's president, senior lawyer Zainul Abedin, Kamal urged lawyers across the country to unite for protests demanding the arrest of Khairul Haque and the resignation of judges who aided the fascist regime.
He announced that a nationwide protest rally would be held at all district bars on Tuesday (29 April), with further actions to follow if the demands are not met.
