The party is yet to announce candidates for Chattogram-11 (Bandar–Patenga) and Chattogram-14 (Chandanaish) constituencies.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir confirmed the latest list while unveiling 36 new candidates at the party chairperson's Gulshan office today (4 December).
Mahbuber Rahman Shamim, organising secretary of the Chattogram divisional BNP, told TBS that nominations had earlier been declared for 10 seats, with four more confirmed today.
Among the newly nominated candidates, Mostafa Kamal Pasha will contest from Chattogram-3, Gias Uddin Quader Chowdhury from Chattogram-6, Mohammad Abu Sufian from Chattogram-9, Nazmul Mostafa Amin from Chattorgram-15 and Alamgir Mahfuz Ullah Farid from Cox's Bazar-2.
BNP insiders say the remaining two Chattogram nominations will be announced "in due course" as internal vetting continues.
