BNP knows how to implement plans: Tarique Rahman
The BNP chief said those criticising the party have no experience in running the country and have failed to present any concrete plans for the people.
The BNP knows how to implement plans, party Chairperson Tarique Rahman said today (25 January), citing its experience in running the government in the past.
Speaking as the chief guest at a BNP election rally at Chauddagram High School ground in Cumilla, he said some people have been campaigning for days claiming that BNP would distribute family cards immediately after coming to power. "We have never said that. We will implement our plans step by step," he added.
Tarique said those criticising the party have no experience in running the country and have failed to present any concrete plans for the people.
"We are the first to clearly state what plans we will take if we form the government. We will work to bring about the change people wanted after 5 August," he said.
Urging party supporters and voters to remain vigilant on polling day, he said, "Offer Tahajjud prayers, then perform Fajr prayers in congregation, and stand in front of the polling centres. Once voting begins, stay there until the end so that no one can rig votes."
He also promised that if BNP wins the election, he would return to Chauddagram and undertake canal excavation work in the area.
