BNP suspends 'victory torch road show' due to Khaleda Zia’s illness
The party had announced yesterday that it would hold a 16-day special “victory torch road show” as part of its celebration of the country’s 55th Victory Day.
The BNP has cancelled its previously announced "victory torch road show" to mark the month of victory as Chairperson Khaleda Zia is unwell.
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement today (30 November) at a press conference at the central party office in Naya Paltan.
The party had announced yesterday that it would hold a 16-day special "victory torch road show" as part of its celebration of the country's 55th Victory Day.
The event was supposed to begin on 1 December at the historic Kalurghat radio station in Chattogram.
