He said the BNP secretary general welcomed the team upon their arrival at the hospital.
Former secretary Abdul Khalek and Chinese Ambassador to Dhaka Yao Wen received the delegation at the airport, Shairul said.
Earlier in the morning, a four-member specialist medical team from the United Kingdom arrived and joined the hospital's medical board.
There have been no new decisions regarding Khaleda's condition, her personal physician Dr AZM Zahid Hossain told reporters after visiting the hospital this afternoon (3 December).
Last night, BNP Media Cell member Shairul Kabir Khan quoted the party's standing committee member Dr Zahid and said the experts from the UK and China will work in coordination with Khaleda's medical board to evaluate and enhance the treatment process.
