PM donates Tk50 lakh for journalists

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has donated Tk50 lakh as special donation for the journalists, who have been playing a significant role during the coronavirus pandemic.
On behalf of the premier, her Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim on Wednesday handed over the cheque to Jatiya Press Club president Saiful Alam and secretary Farida Yasmin.
Prime Minister's speech writer Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Deputy Press Secretary KM Shakhawat Moon, Deputy Press Secretary Hasan Zahid Tushar, Assistant Press Secretary MM Imrul Kayes and Assistant Press Secretary Ashraf Siddiqui Bittu, among others, were present on the occasion.
