PKSF approves five-year strategic plan, Tk11,000cr loan target for FY2025–26
This marks a significant increase from the outgoing year’s disbursement of Tk9,340 crore to PKSF’s partner organisations

The Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) has approved a five-year strategic plan aimed at fostering inclusive growth and sustainable development for the country's underprivileged and low-income population.
The plan, titled PKSF Strategic Plan (2025–2030), was approved during the foundation's 260th Governing Body meeting held at its headquarters in the capital today (29 June).
The meeting also approved a loan disbursement target of Tk11,000 crore for the upcoming fiscal year 2025–26.
This marks a significant increase from the outgoing year's disbursement of Tk9,340 crore to PKSF's partner organisations.
According to PKSF, although the quality and effectiveness of its activities have been praised both nationally and internationally since its inception, shifting socio-economic conditions, technological advancements, and evolving poverty dynamics have prompted the need for a renewed strategic direction.
The Governing Body endorsed the plan and recommended its placement before the General Body for final approval.
The General Body, during its 14th meeting held later in the day, approved the strategic plan and also endorsed a revised budget of Tk10,337 crore for FY2024–25 and a total budget of Tk12,346 crore for FY2025–26.
PKSF officials said the increased allocation would enable partner organisations to expand their outreach and serve grassroots communities more effectively.
Both meetings were chaired by PKSF Chairman Zakir Ahmed Khan. Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader, along with Governing Body members Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Nurun Nahar, Farzanah Chowdhury, Md Taufiqul Islam, and Lila Rashid.
All General Body members were present at the afternoon session.
