Fact-checking body "Rumor Scanner" in an investigation found that a photo of different incidents in China is being circulated, claiming to be the image of Tarique Rahman, acting chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).

In a report published on its website yesterday (19 May), said the photo of police torture of a young man named Cai Xiangdong in Henan Province, China in 2002 is being circulated as Tarique Rahman's photo.
