A delegation led by Ambassador of Palestine Yousef SY Ramadan paid a courtesy call on General Waker-uz-Zaman, the chief of army staff of Bangladesh Army, at the Army Headquarters in Dhaka today (23 March).
In addition to exchanging mutual greetings, Gen Waker expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the ongoing violence and killings in Gaza.
He also conveyed his hope for a prompt resolution to the prevailing crisis in Palestine.

The ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude to Bangladesh for providing training opportunities to Palestinian cadets and military officers at Bangladesh Military Academy and other military training institutions.
