Army-run educational institutions achieve 98.85% pass rate in SSC exams

Educational institutions run by the Bangladesh Army have achieved outstanding results in the 2025 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations, with an overall pass rate of 98.85%.
A total of 9,299 students from those institutions took part in the examinations this year — 7,762 from 38 Bangla-medium institutions and 1,537 from 26 English-medium institutions.
Among them, 6,200 students secured the highest grade, GPA-5, resulting in a GPA-5 achievement rate of 66.67%, the Bangladesh Army said in a statement on its Facebook page.
"This consistent academic excellence is attributed to the disciplined and student-friendly environment of the cantonment-based schools and colleges, as well as the dedicated efforts of qualified and experienced teachers, the students' commitment to regular study, and their relentless pursuit of academic success.
"The achievement also reflects the visionary guidance of the institutions' governing bodies, the effective leadership of the principals and vice principals, the joint efforts of devoted faculty members and staff, and the sincere cooperation of parents," reads the statement.
