BSCIC DGM Tamanna Rahman dies of coronavirus

Tamanna Rahman, 55, deputy general manager (DGM) of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation's (BSCIC) Rangpur office lost her life to coronavirus.
She breathed her last at 5 pm on Tuesday in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Rajshahi medical college and hospital said a press release issued by BSCIC.
Tamanna Rahman was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital on August 7 due to pneumonia complications and later tested positive for coronavirus, the release added.

She left behind five brothers, a sister and relatives – as well as a host of well-wishers – to mourn her death.
The BSCIC family is deeply saddened by the demise of Tamanna Rahman.
In a condolence message, BSCIC Chairman Md Mushtaq Hasan prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul and conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members.
Tamanna Rahman was born in 16 December 1964 in Rajshahi district. She joined the BSCIS's UDP project in 1992 as an extension officer.
Later, she became a Deputy Manager of BSCIC in 2014 through assimilation of the project in the revenue sector.
