No injuries have been reported over the incident.

Earlier yesterday, a car of the motorcade of Hasnat Abdullah and Sarjis Alam, leaders of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, met with an accident while they were on their way to Dhaka after offering prayers at the grave of lawyer Saiful Islam in Chattogram.

Sarjis Alam today said in a Facebook status, "I returned to Dhaka from Chattogram in another car last night. On the way, I dropped Hasnat at his house in Cumilla. Now I hear that on the way to Dhaka from Cumilla in the morning, another car rammed into Hasnat's car from behind!

"How many more conspiracies will there be? How many Hasnat's will be killed?....if one Hasnat is killed, thousands of Hasnats are now ready to stand up. Don't dare to block the path of this new Bangladesh. This young generation is not one to bow their heads," he added.

"We have learned to die. We are open to being killed," he said.
