Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa called upon the young sailors to use their knowledge properly and develop themselves competent.

He also instructed them to perform their duties properly on the path of national security and progress by utilising the training they received.

He recalled the boundless sacrifice of Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to the cause of the Liberation War, and paid respects to the deceased navy officers and freedom fighters who made the supreme sacrifice in 1971.

Rear Admiral Mohammad Musa also called upon the young sailors to serve the country after being inspired by the ideals of the great architect of independent Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujib.

He instructed all the naval members to work together in the service of the country after being inspired by the ideals of patriotism and independence.

Later, he distributed 'Noubahini Pradhan Padak', 'Kamkhul Padak' and 'Titumir Padak' among three new entry sailors for their outstanding performances in the training.

Meera Akhter won the first place among female sailors and got the newly introduced 'Pritilata Waddedar Padak'.

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, training of young sailors and the passing-out parade were held in compliance with the health rules as well as social distancing following guidelines of the World Health Organisation and the government.

A limited number of naval officers from the Khulna Naval Area, JCO's, PO's and leading and heroic sailors and civilian officers and staff were present due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
