National polls: EC to hold dialogue with media representatives tomorrow
The dialogue with TV media representatives will be held at 10:30am and newspaper and online media at 2:30pm

The Election Commission (EC) will hold a daylong dialogue with media representatives tomorrow (6 October), focusing on the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
Election Commission Public Relations Assistant Director Md Ashadul Haque confirmed that the dialogue will take place in two sessions.
The dialogue with TV media representatives will be held at 10:30am and newspaper and online media at 2:30pm, Ashadul Haque said.
He added that around 40 media representatives are expected to participate in the dialogue.
The dialogue is part of a broader schedule, with the Election Commission set to meet women leaders and election experts on 7 October, followed by talks with July warriors and political parties.
Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin emphasised that the commission will consider and implement the suggestions raised during these discussions.
The EC began its series of dialogues on 28 September, meeting civil society members, intellectuals, and academics. However, fewer than half of the invited 30 guests attended the first meeting.
At the opening of the initial dialogue, CEC Nasir Uddin reaffirmed the EC's commitment to conducting fair, transparent, and acceptable elections, noting that preparations have advanced significantly and the current discussions aim to address existing gaps.
The commission aims to complete all preparations for voting in the first half of February and plans to continue dialogues with political parties, women leaders, July fighters, and the media throughout October.
