Advisers Nahid Islam and Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan have visited the "Aynaghar" at the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) today (12 February) and they were able to identify the detention cells they were kept in and tortured during the July uprising.

Nahid Islam, allegedly abducted last July, recognised his former cell. He recalled a basin-like structure used as a toilet and observed that walls between cells were removed and repainted after 5 August.

Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan also identified his cell, and said there were once exhaust fans near the ceiling.
