More rains likely in next five days: BMD
A mild heat wave is sweeping over Madaripur, Pabna, Khulna, Jashore, Chuadanga, Kushtia & Satkhira and it may continue
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Thursday predicted rains coupled with lightning and temporary gusty winds in parts of the country over the next five days.
"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely at many places Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; at a few places over Dhaka and Rajshahi divisions and at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Rangpur, Mymensingh & Sylhet divisions," the Met office said in a forecast for 24 hours from 9am on Thursday.
