Md Asadul Islam promoted to senior secretary

Md Asadul Islam has been promoted to the position of senior secretary of the Planning Division, five days after his transfer from the health ministry.
The Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday issued a gazette notification in this regard.
"Secretary Md Asadul Islam will be appointed as the senior secretary of the Planning Division," the gazette notification reads.

Asadul Islam is expected to join his new post from Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Land Reform Board (Secretary) Abdul Mannan was appointed as the new secretary of the health department, and is also scheduled to join his new post from Tuesday.
