Lakshmipur double murder: Nephew admits killing aunt, cousin for gold and cash
He has confessed to the murders before a court, police said, adding that a detailed report will be submitted soon.

Police have arrested the prime suspect in the brutal murder of a mother and daughter in Ramganj upazila of Lakshmipur.
The accused, Parvez Hossain, who returned from abroad about two months ago, was under financial strain and struggling to repay NGO and bank loans.
He was arrested in Dhaka's Turag area through digital tracking yesterday (16 October), Lakhsmipur district Superintendent of Police (SP) Md Akhtar Hossain said during a press briefing at the district police superintendent's office this afternoon (17 October).
"Parvez killed his aunt Julekha Begum and cousin Tanha Akhter Mim over money and gold," said the SP.
He added that police also recovered around seven bhori of gold ornaments from his possession.
Parvez has confessed to the murders before a court, he said, adding that a detailed report will be submitted soon.
On the day of the incident, Parvez bought a knife, visited his uncle's house in North Chandipur, and fatally attacked Mim when she screamed after seeing the weapon.
He then murdered Julekha Begum similarly and fled with the gold ornaments.
Earlier on 9 October, Julekha and her daughter Mim were found dead with their throats slit at their home in North Chandipur village.
