The officers have been transferred from one workstation to another within the city keeping their rank and status intact

DMP witnesses internal reshuffle of 20 cadre officers

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today (22 March) said it transferred 20 cadre officers from one workstation to another within the city keeping their rank and status intact.

According to separately issued orders, one of the 20 officers is Additional Commissioner Mohammad Mahmudul Hassan Chowdhury.

He was working at DMP Headquarters. Under the transfer order, he will join with the identical rank as the chief of the Detective Branch of DMP's northern division.

The rest are DMP's Assistant Commissioners Md Ziaur Rahman Chowdhury, Md Omar Ali, Muha Al Amin Sarkar, Imdad Hossain Bipul, Sahown Palit,  Masum Sardar, Zakir Hossain, Md Omar faruque, Md Mahbub Hossain, Md Shah Alam Mridha, Moha Mamun or Rashid, Syed Md Shahidul Islam, SM Hasibur Rahman Babu, Amal Kanti Roy, Syed Maruf Al Razi, Md Altaf Hossain Molla, AKM Nasrul Hasan, Md Ali Ahmed Masud, and Md Sharifuddoula.

They are working in different units within the DMP.
