Attempted rape at JU: Police seek public assistance in identifying accused

The police have sought public assistance and announced rewards for identifying and locating a man accused of attempting to rape a student of Jahangirnagar University.
In a statement to the media today (16 May), Police Headquarters said law enforcement agencies are working to identify the suspect seen in CCTV footage linked to the incident.
Authorities urged anyone with information regarding the man's identity, whereabouts, or any related details to contact police via WhatsApp at 01320-089305.

A female student of JU has alleged that an outsider attacked and attempted to rape her on campus on 12 May.
