JUCSU and Hall Union Elections to be held on 31 July

The election of the Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (JUCSU) and Hall Union will be held on 31 July.
Professor Dr. Kamrul Ahsan, vice-chancellor of Jahangirnagar University, announced the election date and time at a press conference held around 11:55pm yesterday (30 April) in the council room of the university's new administrative building.
"We formed an electoral commission, directed by Prof Md Maniruzzaman of the English Department. We have chose to hold the JUCSU election on 31 July this year, following the trial of those responsible for the attacks during the July revolt," said Prof Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan.
