Jubo League leader Golakata Kausar arrested from Bashundhara

Jubo League leader Kaiser Mahmud, alias Golakata Kausar accused in 12 cases related to the anti-discrimination movement was arrested yesterday (9 April).
Kausar, convener of Badda Thana Jubo League, was arrested from the Basundhara Residential Area of the capital around 9:40pm, said DMP DC (media) Talebur Rahman.
A team of Gulshan Division of the Detective Branch made the arrest, said police.
During primary interrogation, Kausar confessed to have participated in the recent flash protest march organised by Jubo League in Dhaka city, according to sources from DB-Gulshan Division.
Kausar faces 12 cases related to the anti-discrimination movement across various police stations of DMP, added the sources.
