JU expels student caught with 20 bottles of liquor

The Jahangirnagar University (JU) administration has expelled a student for one year over allegations of possessing alcohol in a university residential hall.

According to hall sources, the accused Md Fazle Ajwad is a student of the Department of Government and Politics from the 2022-23 academic session (52nd batch). He is a residential student of Mir Mosharraf Hossain Hall, but he was staying in room no 729 of Kazi Nazrul Islam Hall.
Yesterday, JU authorities detained Ajwad from the room and seized 20 bottles of foreign liquor.
