JK Lifestyle owner Jahangir warns against fake posts on social media
Mentioning the legal notice that was served against him, Jahangir also said the notice was later withdrawn

People are getting deceived by hundreds of promotional contents from numerous fake Facebook pages as the original Facebook page of JK Lifestyle is currently inactive, owner of the company Jahangir Kabir said today (30 March).
Jahangir made the remark at a press briefing at his company office in the capital's Aftabnagar, where he warned people of not believing in the fake contents.
"Patients are regularly coming to our office seeking treatment while getting deceived by the fake contents on Facebook. These pages are selling sensitive medicines although we do not sell them," Jahangir said.
"We only diagnose the sickness and suggest a lifestyle according to the diagnosis. However, an organised group is misusing my photo and deceiving the people," Jahangir added.
Stating that filing general diaries at police stations did not solve the problem, Jahangir said, "The administration can easily find out the culprits. However, no steps have been taken against anyone yet."
"Many people are getting better following our lifestyle. Even Indian nationals have sought treatment from us. Our users are constantly increasing. Using our popularity, a fraud gang is promoting fake contents everyday, spending thousands of dollars," Jahangir added.
Mentioning the legal notice that was served against him, Jahangir also said the notice was later withdrawn.
"During the time of getting the legal notice, at least 50 media outlets had published news on the matter. Even my original Facebook page also went down. Not finding my organisation on Facebook, people are getting deceived by fake pages," Jahangir further said.
"The fake pages are selling various medicines, but the most lethal of them is the selling of sexual drugs. Besides my photo, many indecent pictures are being used while selling these medicines, which is deplorable," Jahangir said.
"Only God knows what those medicines contain. That's why people should stay away from the fake pages," Jahangir added.
During the press briefing, Jahangir mentioned that the original Facebook page of his company will be reactivated within a week.
