Jatiya Chhatra Shakti announces new committees, Zahid and Baker to lead central body

The Jatiya Chhatra Shakti, an associate organisation of National Citizen Party (NCP), reconstituted from the Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangsad (Bagchas), has announced its new central and Dhaka University committees.
The organisation made the announcement on Friday night (31 October).
Zahid Ahsan has been appointed as the president of the central committee, while Abu Bakar Mojumder will serve as the general secretary.

Zahid previously held the position of member secretary of the Bagchas central committee, and Abu Bakar was the convener.
Meanwhile, Abu Touhid Mohammad Siam has been made the organising secretary (north region), and Mahir Alam will serve as the organising secretary (south region).
For the Dhaka University committee, Tahmid Al Muddassir Chowdhury has been named president, Al Amin Sarker as general secretary, and Md Saifullah as organising secretary.
Tahmid Al Muddassir previously served as the chief organiser of the Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangsad, while Al Amin Sarker was the senior member secretary.
On 23 October, the Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chharta Sangsad was renamed Jatiya Chhatra Shakti, which will now function as an associate organisation of NCP, instead of operating as an independent student body.
