Jagannath University reschedules JnUCSU election to 6 Jan

Jagannath University has rescheduled the election of the Jagannath University Central Students' Union (JnUCSU) to 6 January following the postponement over the death of BNP Chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda Zia.
The decision was announced today (30 December) in a press release signed by Prof Mostafa Hasan, chief election commissioner of the JnUCSU Election Commission.
Earlier in the day, the university authorities and its syndicate unanimously decided to postpone the election, which had been scheduled for today, during an emergency meeting held in the wake of Khaleda Zia's death.
