The assembly intends to connect the nation's foremost young talent in the fields of sustainable development and social entrepreneurship with leading professionals, policymakers, and practitioners of various fields through discussions, skill-building workshops, networking sessions, and ideation challenges.

Korvi Rakshand, Executive Director of JAAGO Foundation said, "In Bangladesh, 40% of the population is youth. Hence, the contribution of youth can make a huge impact on the country. It is our responsibility to help the young generation to grow and become responsible citizens. This inclusive and engaging Assembly will enlighten the youth on issues like Sustainable Development Goals to community engagement."

The NYA 2020 will consist of more than 30 sessions on issues such as mobilizing youth for politics, institutional partnerships to achieve sustainable development goals (SDG), road safety for sustainable cities, among others.

The Assembly will be attended by more than 75 speakers, including Zahid Ahsan Russell, State Minister of Youth and Sports, Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel, Deputy Minister of Education, Nasrul Hamid, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, and Sheikh Sharhan Naser Tonmoy, among others.
