A crude bomb attack allegedly targeted newly formed c Convenor Abu Baker Mojumder near the Hotel InterContinental intersection in Dhaka's Shahbagh area around 8:23pm yesterday (25 October).
Baker, however, escaped unharmed.

Earlier, Masud Alam, deputy commissioner (Ramna division), told The Business Standard that a police team visited the scene shortly after the incident and began collecting CCTV footage.
Just ten minutes after the attack, Baker, in a Facebook post, wrote about the incident, saying, "Moments ago, around 8:24pm, a cocktail was thrown in front of my bike at the InterContinental intersection while I was heading to a meeting at Rupayan Tower."
"For political reasons, I've made both external and internal enemies. I'm still fine. Please keep me in your prayers," he added.
