Islami Chhatra Shibir elects Saddam as president, Sibgatullah as secretary
The election was held today (26 December) through votes cast by Shibir members at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka.
Nurul Islam Saddam and Sibgatullah Sibga have been elected as the central president and central secretary of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir for the 2026 session.

Nurul Islam Saddam previously served as the organisation's secretary general. He hails from Sonadanga upazila in Khulna. He passed his Dakhil and Alim examinations from Darul Quran Siddiqia Kamil Madrasa in Khulna before enrolling at Khulna University, where he completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in economics.
He is currently pursuing a professional master's degree in human resource management at the Faculty of Business Studies of the University of Dhaka.
Meanwhile, newly elected secretary Sibgatullah Sibga earlier served as the organisation's office secretary. He also held the position of president of Islami Chhatra Shibir's Dhaka University unit.
