Islami Bank Bangladesh’s Facebook page hacked again
This time, the group posted a lengthy message aimed at “raising awareness” about online security

Islami Bank Bangladesh's official Facebook page has been hacked for the second time in less than 24 hours, with the hacking group 'Team MS 470X' again claiming responsibility.
The bank had earlier confirmed that its page was compromised yesterday (3 October) when hackers changed its profile and cover photos. After being restored, the page was hacked again early this morning (4 October).
This time, the group posted a lengthy message aimed at "raising awareness" about online security.
"We have access again because many so-called experts claim that if they verify your Business Manager, your system will never be hacked. To them, we say: every Business Manager we take under our control is already verified. We don't break system, we build system. And everyone should remember that," they wrote.
"No one is truly safe in the online world. Even those experts who are asking ordinary users to verify their Business Managers through them have themselves fallen victim to hacking," they continued.
"Don't hand over your security responsibilities to so-called experts, Secure your system by yourself. And remember our name for life MS 470X we're not here to harm anyone, we're here to raise awareness and protect people," they added.
"We monitor everything closely. Never consider yourself 100% safe, because there's always someone smarter out there," they further wrote.
As of 9am today, the page activity appeared normal, with all posts by the hackers deleted.
Nazrul Islam, Islami Bank's Head of Public Relations, told The Business Standard yesterday that the IT department was working to recover the page from the hackers.
