Measles death toll rises to 738 as 7 more children die in 24hrs
Bangladesh has reported more than 105,000 suspected measles cases since the outbreak began, with laboratory-confirmed infections surpassing 12,600.

Seven more children died from measles-like symptoms in the 24 hours until 8:00am today (5 July), raising Bangladesh's combined tally of confirmed and suspected measles-related deaths to 738.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the number of suspected measles deaths has increased to 645, while laboratory-confirmed deaths remain unchanged at 93.
During the period, the country recorded 925 new suspected measles cases, taking the cumulative total to 105,618.
The DGHS also reported 106 new laboratory-confirmed measles infections over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 12,632.
Since 15 March, a total of 88,844 patients with suspected measles have been hospitalised across the country. Of them, 85,122 have recovered, according to DGHS data.
