The government has instructed all the medical colleges' teachers in the country to serve their respective medical college hospitals.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare gave the instruction through a gazette notification signed by Shamima Nasrin, deputy secretary of the ministry, on Sunday (June 28).

All the teachers -- professor, associate professor, assistant professor and lecturers -- of different departments in all the medical colleges were directed to perform duties in their respective medical college hospitals.
