Evercare Hospital Dhaka, part of the Evercare Group, has been reaccredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) for the 5th time in a row.

The hospital was first accredited by JCI in 2008 and is the only hospital in Bangladesh to hold this globally recognised standard, says a press release.

The JCI Gold Seal of Approval is a globally recognised accreditation that reflects an organisation's commitment to best practices in quality and patient safety.

Accreditation by recognised international institutions such as JCI are crucial to drive compliance and improve quality and cost-effectiveness across the hospitals and accreditation has become a priority for healthcare organisations around the world.

Evercare Hospital offers all kinds of BMT services for first time in Bangladesh

Massimiliano Colella, chief-executive-officer for the Evercare Group, said of the accreditation: "As one of the largest integrated healthcare network in emerging markets, Evercare is leading the way by providing optimal healthcare delivered in accredited facilities with every hospital progressing towards quality metrics that meet international standards. I am proud that Evercare Hospital Dhaka is transforming healthcare and setting the benchmark for healthcare standards in Bangladesh."

"As the premier healthcare provider in Bangladesh, our top priorities are Patient Safety and Quality of Care. Receiving this accreditation for the 5th time shows that we are recognised for our commitment to world class services," said Dr Ratnadeep Chaskar, chief executive officer of Evercare Hospital Dhaka.

Susan Pos, chief nursing officer and head of quality at the Evercare Group, said, "Quality is at the core of our mission and we have implemented a robust plan in every market in which we operate to ensure continuous quality improvement."
