Dengue: 2 more die, 988 hospitalised in 24 hours
Dengue death toll reaches 113 as cases cross 41,000.
Two more people have died of dengue in the last 24 hours, while 988 new patients were hospitalised with the disease during the same period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The latest deaths were reported from Dhaka South City Corporation, taking the country's dengue-related death toll this year to 113.
The figures were disclosed in a press release issued today (5 September) by the Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room of the DGHS.
With the latest admissions, the cumulative number of dengue cases reported in the country this year has reached 41,032.
