Health adviser should resign, obvious example of CA’s nepotism: Hasnat
Demanding her resignation, Hasnat said that there is no need for this health adviser.

National Citizen Party (NCP) Chief Organiser (South) Hasnat Abdullah today (23 July) accused Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus of nepotism, stating that Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum's appointment is an obvious example of that.
"We have a health adviser who came through Dr Yunus' 'bhai-brother quota' [close people]. This is the biggest proof of his nepotism," he said at a programme in Chandpur as part of the party's 'July Podojatra'.
Demanding her resignation, Hasnat said, "I have always said there is no need for this health adviser. She has no responsibilities and the salary she draws is completely unjustified."
"This health adviser should immediately return the public money she has received as salary and resign from her position."
"The car she uses is bought with government money. That is a betrayal of the people," he added.
Criticising her qualifications, Hasnat said, "She does not understand healthcare. She does not understand medicine and she has no instrumental knowledge in the field."
"Her only qualification is that she once worked at Grameen Bank and is close to Dr Yunus. What are we supposed to do with such a health adviser?" he added.
He further said, "The unfortunate part is that she goes to Singapore for her own treatment. When we speak up about it, they tend to get angry. I once raised the issue and since then she has stopped talking to us."
Hasnat said that they wanted to restructure the state after the uprising, but noted that the healthcare system remains just as it was before.
Pointing out that the law and order situation also remains unchanged, this NCP leader said there had been high expectations from this government, but those expectations are gradually fading.
