Group M celebrated International Women's Day as a team to commemorate womanhood in the workplace.

The day was celebrated with a discussion on 'Women in the advertising agencies', says a press release.

Co-chairperson of Asiatic 360 Sara Zaker, Director of Asiatic 360 Sriya Sharbojoya, Managing Director of Group M Morshed Alam, Mindshare Bangladesh Executive Director Tasnuva Ahmed Tina, and the entire team of Group M were present at the discussion.

Sara Zaker said, "Women face many challenges every day, with the support of the entire team it will be easier for them to overcome the hurdle. Women are putting their footprints as a sign of empowerment and ambition not only in workplaces but also in the world, which is very much appreciable."

Group M Managing Director Morshed Alam added by saying— "The male members of the office can also contribute at their home. In case of any home-emergencies, they can help instead of leaving the women at home to take care of it alone."

Sriya Sharbojoya said, "Paternal leave can also be an option for the male members in our team, where they can be at home with the wife when she is recovering from having the baby."

This year the theme for Women's day was 'Choose to Challenge', as new challenges come up every day and women deal with the situation with valour.

Women are the source of the powerhouse, who keep balancing work life and personal life simultaneously.
