Govt employees must update their personal info on GEMS for promotion: Ministry
The public administration ministry has warned that government employees will disqualify for promotion if they do not update their personal information on Government Employee Management System (GEMS).
Mohammad Mahbubul Alam, additional secretary of the ministry, issued an urgent notice today (6 April) in this regard.
The ministry has asked the government employees to update their personal information on the GEMS on an urgent basis and upload their color photographs taken within the past six months.

Those who will fail to respond to the official notice will not be considered eligible for promotion, it said.
