Govt bans drones over Parliament area during July Charter signing ceremony
The government has imposed a ban on flying drones over the Parliament area during the July National Charter signing ceremony tomorrow (17 October).
"The signing ceremony of the July National Charter 2025 will be held tomorrow at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban. Authorities have imposed a ban on flying drones in and around the Sangsad area during the event," said the Chief Adviser's Press Wing here this afternoon.
All concerned have been requested to strictly comply with the directive, it added.
According to officials, the much‑awaited historic "July National Charter 2025" signing ceremony is scheduled to be held around 4pm tomorrow.
Chief Adviser and Chairman of the National Consensus Commission Professor Muhammad Yunus will grace the signing occasion of the charter.
Earlier, the Chief Adviser joined a meeting of the Consensus Commission with political parties at the Foreign Service Academy here on Wednesday evening as part of the last‑minute preparations for the signing ceremony.
Leaders of various political parties, including Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Bangladesh Jamaat‑e‑Islami, National Citizen Party (NCP), Gono Songhoti Andolon, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, JSD (Rab), and Biplobi Workers Party, were present at the meeting.
