Govt alerts all about fraud over sub-registrar transfer
The ministry advised the public to report any such fraudulent activities to the relevant police station
The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs today (1 June) requested all to remain alert over enticements, offers and fraud regarding the posting and transfer of district registrars and sub-registrars under Directorate of Registration.
The posting and transfer of district registrars and sub-registrars under Directorate of Registration is a regular activity of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, said a press release issued by the ministry.
"In the transfer process, the applications of the District Registrars and Sub-Registrars, length of their service, posting of their spouses, medical and other humanitarian needs are taken into consideration. There is no scope for any financial transactions in the transfer process," the release added.
