Gonoforum signs July National Charter
Gono Forum signed the July National Charter, 2025, at the LD Hall of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban today (19 October).
The party's representatives put pen to the charter, where Acting President Subrata Chowdhury and General Secretary Dr Mizanur Rahman, along with other leaders, were present.
National Consensus Commission Vice Chairman Professor Ali Riaz, members Safar Raj Hossain, Dr Iftekharuzzaman, and Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar, and Chief Adviser's Special Assistant Monir Haidar were also present.
On 17 October, the widely anticipated "July National Charter, 2025" was signed in a festive event at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban by Chief Adviser and Chairman of the National Consensus Commission Professor Muhammad Yunus, along with members of the Commission and representatives of various political parties.

Although Gono Forum representatives were present at the event that day, they did not sign the charter. With today's signing by Gono Forum, a total of 26 political parties have now endorsed the charter.
