Former deputy minister Humayun Kabir dies

Former deputy minister for Health and Family Welfare Ministry, Humayun Kabir, died of a heart attack early today.  

He breathed his last around 8:45am at Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital at the age of 68.

Humayun Kabri was one of the organisers of the Liberation War and was a member of parliament in Brahmanbaria-3 constituency for twice. He was also the former general secretary of the district Awami League.

His wife Nayar Kabir is the mayor of Brahmanbaria Municipality.   

He will be buried at his family cemetery in Poirtola area of the district.
