Rain likely
Rain/thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions
Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that rain may occur in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9am today (9 March).
In its regular weather bulletin issued this morning, BMD said "Rain/thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions."
It also said day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
According to the bulletin, the highest temperature yesterday (8 March) was recorded at 33 degrees Celsius in Narsingdi and Khulna distritcts while today's minimum temperature was 17 degrees Celsius in Teknaf under Cox's Bazar district.
Today's sunset in Dhaka will be at 6:05pm, while tomorrow's sunrise is expected at 6:14am.
