Entry to National Memorial restricted ahead of Victory Day celebrations
On the morning of 16 December, public entry to the memorial will be restricted until 8:30am during the wreath-laying ceremony by VVIPs, VIPs, and invited guests
Public entry to the National Memorial area in Savar has been restricted for three days for the celebration of Victory Day on 16 December.
"The National Memorial area in Savar will remain closed to the public from December 13 to 15 to keep the premises clean ahead of the celebration of Victory Day-2025," an official handout said today (11 December).
Additionally, on the morning of 16 December, public entry to the memorial will be restricted until 8:30am during the wreath-laying ceremony by VVIPs, VIPs, and invited guests.
As part of the day's celebrations, no posters, banners, or festoons will be allowed along the road from Gabtoli, Dhaka, to the National Memorial.
The public has also been urged to avoid causing any damage to the flowerbeds while laying wreaths at the memorial in Savar.
