State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Bipu ordered concerned organisations to submit a report within 15 days on how to remove the web of overhead wires from Dhaka city.
He made the remark today after a meeting with various utility services providers at Biddyut Bhaban in Dhaka.
"This type of risky wires are the reason of various accidents. Dhaka Power Distribution Company Ltd will start a project next year to take down all wires from Dhanmondi area," he said.
