Ekushey Book fair to begin in Chattogram Monday
This year, the book fair will feature a total of 205 stalls
The Amar Ekushey Book Fair will begin at the gymnasium of MA Aziz Stadium in the port city Chattoram from Monday.
Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud is expected to inaugurate the book fair at 3pm on the day.
This year, the book fair will feature a total of 205 stalls, Chattogram City Corporation Mayor A J M Nasir Uddin said while addressing a press conference on Saturday.

He said a total of 118 publishers from Dhaka and 40 from Chattogram will participate in the fair.
The whole book fair will be under CCTV surveillance in order to ensure maximum security.
The fair will continue till February 29. It will remain open from 3pm to 9pm everyday, except on Fridays and Saturdays and government holidays. The fair will remain open from 10am to 9pm in these days.
