Quake fear: Dhaka Medical College suspends academic activities till 29 Nov
Academic activities will resume as usual from 30 November
Dhaka Medical College has suspended all academic activities until 29 November amid fear following the recent earthquakes.
A notice, signed by Prof Dr Md Kamrul Alam, principal of Dhaka Medical College, was issued in this regard today (23 November).
According to the notice, an emergency meeting of the Academic Council of Dhaka University has postponed all professional MBBS examinations until 29 November after several earthquakes jolted the country.
To ease students' mental stress and allow them to meet their families Dhaka Medical College authorities will also keep its academic activities suspended until 29 November, it said.
The notice further said that academic activities will resume as usual from 30 November.
