Medical colleges to remain closed from tomorrow amid energy-saving measures
Classes will resume after Eid-ul-Fitr.
Following the closure of universities nationwide, all medical colleges across the country will also be shut from tomorrow (10 March) in a move aimed at saving electricity and fuel amid the ongoing US-Israel war on Iran in the Middle East.
Professor Dr Nazmul Hosain, director general of the Directorate General of Medical Education, said today that classes and examinations at medical colleges will remain suspended from tomorrow.
Classes will resume after Eid-ul-Fitr, he added.
Mahmudul Hasan, public relations officer of the Ministry of Health, said a notice regarding the decision has already been issued.
