DU tops among Bangladeshi universities in QS Asia Ranking
Dhaka University stands at 132nd position among universities across Asia and 17th among those in South Asia
Dhaka University has once again claimed the top spot among Bangladeshi universities in the QS Asia University Rankings, compiled by the UK-based education and research organisation Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
In the rankings, Dhaka University stands at 132nd position among universities across Asia and 17th among those in South Asia, said a press release issued by the university today (5 Novemebr).
QS released its annual Asia University Rankings yesterday (4 November), evaluating 1,529 universities across the continent. The University of Hong Kong topped the list, followed by China's Peking University in second place.

The rankings, which consider factors such as academic performance, number of PhD graduates, and international student presence, placed Dhaka University at 584th globally in this year's assessment.
