Asian Institute of Technology now in Bangladesh
Courses are set to commence in Bangladesh in early 2021

Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand – one of the top-ranked universities in Asia and well recognised all over the world – will offer its Professional Master's Programme, Project Management in Construction and tailor-made short-term courses in Dhaka.
Courses are set to commence in Bangladesh in early 2021 with educators from AIT. AIT's activities in Bangladesh will be managed by an organisation called The Bridge.
A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Dr Eden Woon, the president of AIT and Sadat Mahmud Tanvir, chief executive officer of The Bridge, read a press release.
Established in 1959, AIT is an international English-speaking postgraduate institution, focusing on engineering, environment and management studies. AIT's rigorous academic, research and experiential outreach programmes aim to prepare graduates for professional success and leadership roles in Asia and beyond.
Since 2008, The Bridge has conducted foreign trainings, study tours and consultancies to enhance skills for the employees of Bangladesh working under projects governed by numerous government departments and ministries of Bangladesh.
"The arrival of AIT in Bangladesh will play a vital role in accelerating and enriching the irresistible progress of the country and will play a major role in building an experienced, talented and capable human resource in constructing a timely and planned country," said Sadat Mahmud Tanvir.
