EC transfers 52 more officials; total 174 moved in last 15 days
Earlier, on 27 July, the EC transferred 71 upazila election officers through another notification and on 15 July, 51 upazila election officers were transferred in the first phase.

As part of its preparations for the upcoming national election, the Election Commission (EC) has transferred 52 more officials, bringing the total number of transferred officers to 174 over the past 15 days.
The Bangladesh Election Commission today (31 July) issued a circular in this regard.
According to the circular, the transferred officials must be released from their current workplaces by 6 August. Failure to comply will result in their automatic release effective from 7 August.
